Watching Rublo paying against Bergs in Miami and he's playing with a new black strings...

Any guess on this switch?

From what I figured out watching him now with La Monf - he strings @ 26/25 and uses L4 (4 1/2) grip

Yes, it looks like this.
There was short video on russian vlog channel. He showed his GP and said his frames broke a lot (graphite craches bitween grommets holes ) and he changed strings to avoid it.

To play in the upcoming clay section of the ATP/grand slams? Some players do change strings depending on the court be it grass, clay, or hard or at least change tension based on the balls.

Rublev selects strings not based on how they play but rather how they feel when you pound them repeatedly against the knee or hand.

I thought I read somewhere that Rublev switched to 4G but not sure on the veracity of that claim

Cerundolo looks like BB Original to me

Rublev switched to Lynx Tour approx 2 years ago from Adrenaline (UTS finals '23). He's switched to 4G now though, not sure when, but was using that at UTS finals '25.
