Rublev testing Head blackout

Head I feel will change out the color pattern on the Gravity Pro since many guys dislike the light pastel green and blue on each side. The matted sheen does not help matters either.
Yes, the second best selling line (just introduced a year ago) and adopted by 3 top 10 players is "not doing so well" according to Fedace's clan

Hey I got an idea

A buddy of mine that uses the Gravity Tour saw they updated it. He read the review of it being only a 'cosmetic' update and was slightly disappointed.

Then he saw the color and said "That looks sweet! I might change just for the new colors alone".

You think? I like the color, and the only gravity player I know purchased the new Pro to go alongside his 360+ Pro and also likes the new graphics.

I love the new cosmetic, I think it retains a classic look with a little bit of flare. I wish more manufacturers would just change the cosmetic of frames instead of heavy overhauls of tech.

That’s very true. You are right - there are some hideous PJ out there thesedays - take the latest PA Rafa special and/or Prince Ripstick for an example... some people like them and some don’t. I don’t mind them as it looks to be the newer trend.
suppose any brand/association needs public attention, but I am sure they all prefer the positive ones than not so positive one. Got people talking/attention nonetheless.
I think it is also good to have choices/options. Lol
I am in favor of these paint jobs of the above racquets.

Rublev does statistically have a lousy FH return of serve. Can't help but think the super headlight balance has something to do with that.
nonsense, he just needs big take back, the

Yes can we just close the suject.
Rublev does not play with a mysterious blacked out frame but with a regular Head racquet.
Besides he kicked the goat on clay, Rafa, out of his favorate Monte Carlo tournament.CASE CLOSED!

Well, he had his string of choice in the prestige, so I don't think he was just casually messing with it...maybe Head is asking him to be the new Prestige face?

No definitely not. That title is Cilic’s and it’s not going to anyone else unless Karatsev wins a slam or breaks top 10. Rublev is sticking with his Gravity.

Just looking at my gravity pro demo I popped off the buttcap and didn’t see any foam like my blade. Do we know if Rublev and others if they customize theirs with foam / silicone etc? I was surprised how heavy this pro is at 342g strung with no customization. Just happened to be 5pts Hl though which is in my spec.

Rublev stick is over 350g strung with starting point of 15-20g lighter than the retail stick, so...YES to your question...
Foam Handle (no pallets), lots of lead and silicone

Maybe he likes training with it occasionally since likely a more demanding racquet and then goes back to gravity after has rhythm ha. Just a theory. I do that with a wooden spoon sometimes and then you can’t miss.
My wild guess is that Head asked him to try it, since the Prestige line is running out of big players to endorse it (Marin Cilic is the only one I think) and the Gravity already has Zverev...

Lol he was messing around. I was at Cincy and will be at Indian Wells. He’s not switching to a Prestige. Plus he got to 6 in the world with a Gravity. No point in switching what works.

your guess is wrong though.
1) Rublev is super superstitious, and no way he will switch
2) Goes back to history and his favorite player thAt once used the "Prestige"...
Just messing with it...
