Rublev's Racquet Contract

He has been using what has been found to be a Head Gravity since the US Hardcourt swing of last year. He is still using this blacked-out frame on the Adria Tour.

Does anyone know what the situation is?

Is he still under contract with Wilson? When does it end?

A 22 year old world number 14... I doubt he would find it hard to get a contract if he was actually "out of one".

More likely as @nohandedbackhand mentioned that he is locked into a Wilson contract.

Why wouldn't Wilson want to release him? I mean it's a lose lose situation for both, if Rublev is not going to back to Wilson frames. Isn't common to see pros with new racket contracts that don't work out so they end up breaking it and going back to their former company? i.e. Safin, Blake, etc.

to prevent another company from increasing sales by Rublev endorsing their frames?
if they can afford it, why not? especially that Wilson, together with AmerSports was acquired by a Chinese company, and rumours are that a lot of money were thrown into their Marketing

I would assume money was paid and goods were given for an agreed term, and that term has not ended or compensation returned.
