Rublev's screaming

Is this a natural sound he makes when he hits the ball? It doesn't sound that way. The sound is almost like a scream/grunt. What's the purpose? Is it even remotely possible it's designed to unnerve his opponents? Or, is it just the way his body moves and the sound comes out?

Whatever the reason, I can’t stand it and don’t like watching him because of the grunting. It’s very disconcerting and annoying. It makes him unwatchable for me.

Federer is the most grateful and aesthetically pleasing player of all time, this is one of the many reasons behind it..
He almost doesn't grunt

Sousagroan and Grunthollers are far more annoying.

Many players use the vocals as a timing device to relax the core by exhaling during POC. If it accompanies touch shots (droppers and volleys) then it’s meant to distract and should not be condoned.

Well, I understand during the serve, perhaps. But, Rublev does it on almost every shot. Nadal and others do it too. Frankly, I find those two (Nadal and Rublev) unwatchable. They are both such loud grunters, it's become annoying to try and watch a match with them. Felix has a bit of an annoying grunt too, and frankly, I can't help but wonder if it's also a strategic technique to put off his opponents.

I saw him live at IW and I thought Monica Seles was still playing but he sounds very similar to the 1982, “ the thing “
