This is good! Like the color or not there is a bit of sheen to the matte black... implying that it might be paint and not that garbage velvet
I just got a glimpse of the new pro staff, as one of my friends was stringing it up for the new Wilson rep in town. Same matte black finish, but with white gloss at the halfway points. Basically they just changed the gloss black parts to white. Wasn't too interested in it.
That better not be Federer’s. That better just be one of the random pro staffs.
I didnt see it,, dammmm
so is it all black? With white sections at 3 and 9??
Or is it the blue camo?
They should pay me for designing the racquet for them.Its basically what Bender posted here in this thread

Come now, be nice, the designer insisted on it not being garbage and would stand the test of time, lol.

I volley like John McEnroe so not sure how much improvement I can make there.
tennisthis just posted a photo on Instagram
I saw the new PS on an Instagram post, it looks exactly like the previous models except with white "Wilson" and white accents on the 3 and 9"oclock. I've been waiting for a good prostaff to come out since they stopped the PS90's, none of the newer models have the same feel. But seriously Wilson, are you even trying? They look super cheap and if the color is all your changing, you might as well make an option to where we can customize the color without charging us extra. . .
p.s. the first Pro Staff Tour 90 and the ncode 90 had the best paint jobs imo. . .
@NuBas I agree with alot ^^
Alot of this is federrers doing,,
he mentioned in one of his video interviews how he likes the velvet feel of the racquet, and the all "classic", all black look,,
im not a fan of either,, cant stick a stringer label to the racquet
places where the velvet finish rubs off, look like crap afterwards
and the all black look does nothing for me,, and now HEAD is following suit,, dummm
this new design coming up, looks alot better, or rather a step in the right direction, to my taste..
Lawyer up!They should pay me for designing the racquet for them.
No but have you seen the new Head Speed design? I find it tasteful and really elegant, super sleek. Have a look at these posts
I think these companies play off of each others designs and try to compete with each other, they must follow same trends or something.
Was the PS line supposed to be updated this soon? Maybe this is some sort of limited edition and hopefully they will actually do a real update when they usually do it (every 2 years?).
I got to see the new head speed pro today,, all black, shiny and It tapers into white near the "Y" section of the racquet
the odd thing, was the "speed pro" racquet name on the side,, it looks out of focus,, as to imply "speed",, not sure how I feel about that..
New RF at French Open...now that would be a ridiculous timing.
The PS90 paints were fine, some I preferred over others such as Black BLX, nCode, and last mostly white iteration. The RF97 2015 was alright too but ever since they went with this minimalistic/modern design, it kinda was risky cause though it was something different it did come across as cheap-looking especially for 200+ price tag. Was hoping this update would have outgrown that design but guess they are still gonna push it as much as they can. Another design that was decent was the Blade 93 and their newly reissued SixOne 95 but doesn't matter since I don't really like any of their new PS line-up racquets. PS97 too lively, RF97 retains that plow but really not anything special and the PS97LS was nice but probably not players stick.

fedr doing his best to channel is inner Jony Ive...maybe he will release a unibody aluminium racquet with a string pattern of 1x1 with a glowing W on the handle.No but have you seen the new Head Speed design? I find it tasteful and really elegant, super sleek. Have a look at these posts

Good job Wilson Marketing Dept.!They're changing the butt cap from red to black and adding $50 to the price.
I think the white looks cool. Not super impressive, but definitely not disappointing IMO.
Well worth it the 300Eur MSRPI just got a glimpse of the new pro staff, as one of my friends was stringing it up for the new Wilson rep in town. Well, Mr. Everywhere does know how to play the game. Corr Blimey!
(Wimbledon should be a "Cakewalk" for Roger with that paintjob.!)
@Blitzball
@Say Chi Sin Lo
Can you picture it with the white overgrip?!
im kinda digging the new color,,
With the white overgrip it seems to look better in my mind..
Recenly, It looks more flexible than 2004 models I had which where rated 67 points on a babo machine
