It looks like he's using the Pure Aero VS Tour now. Thought he was using the Pure Aero before and before that was the Pure Drive. I wonder why he did go to the Pure Strike VS range.

Off topic but he had Diadora shirt, shorts, and socks. Nike wristband and shoes....I am assuming he has no clothing/shoe sponsorship?

From what I can tell his history was:
Wilson K Factor Six.One 95 18x20 until RG 2008
Babolat Pure Storm until WMBL 2014
Babolat Pure Drive until Atlanta 2015
Babolat Aero Storm / Pure Aero VS until now

I saw him live last summer at a World Team Tennis match and he was using the Pure Aero VS. I don't think he ever used the Pure Aero but he was using the VS well before it was released at retail so that may have created the appearance.

He has an agreement with Diadora. At this stage the deal might only include soft goods, hence the Nikes remaining on his feet while he wears Diadora apparel. Similar to what happens when people wear Lacoste soft goods (i.e. poly crews / pants / socks / hats) but choose not to wear the Lacoste footwear.

I meant to include that one in the same time frame. I assume one could be painted as the other with no visual indicators, aside from paint is there any difference?
Yes, a big difference. The 'Ltd' version was a 19mm straight beam, 95 sq in, and 18x20. The 'regular' Control/Storm/Control/Strike VS is 21.5mm, 98 sq in, and 16x20.

I saw a pic of him training in diadora shoes. Maybe he didnt really feel connected with those shoes yet and he chose/was allowed to use Nike for the time being.

Interesting! That has happened before where the player has an adjustment period, and then does change over to the shoes as well.

Hah, the depth of my knowledge of babolat frames comes to light. I was pretty much just looking for a boxy throat. Beginning RG 2008 most of the images I spot checked were 18x20, including the last one I could find being WMBL 2014. If there was any significant time he spent with a 16x20 storm I missed it.

Not surprised you weren't aware of it. That frame was a big piece of poo. They tried to resurrect it w/ the new Pure Control line in 2015 as the 'Pure Control 95', but it was bascially just a polished turd.

I do know he switched to the 16x20 Pure Storm Tour (or some variation thereof) briefly before going to the Pure Drive, just can't remember exactly when it was. There were pics of him posted here at one point using it.
