he's probably drunk.
When I read the title I thought Marat was going to play for her.
Way to go Marat...
The train has left the station.
I like this guy's attitude. But I still hate his sister.
Finally he said what he was looking to say a long time ago.
If the quote is legitimate, all Safin has managed to do is paint a larger target on his sister's forehead, heart and back. Until she can do more than fail at the slams, she richly deserves the criticism.
If he really wanted to aid Safina, why not help her to find a new coach--you know..something constructive, rather than defensive hissing which will not change the accurate assessment of the slamless #1.
You are not allowed to question someone as sexy as Marat Safin.
hmm...link is dead. help me.
That's sweet. :cry::cry:
PICS of the fist fight or He's SOFT.
he has his own coaching problems...seriously...
Good on Marat, that's awesome.
He's probably just kissing a little butt since he'll be broke in a couple years and she'll be loaded, lol.
i think safin would have broken more tennis racquets had he performed like safina did at the gs tournaments
I would hope that my brother would stick up for me like that. Still don't know why people like Marat....
He's thoughtless, and in addition to what I posted earlier, he keeps the "fake #1" spotlight on his sister--egging the enitre debate on. He only serves to increase the pressure on her, thus prventing her from keeping a profile low enough to just try to win a slam without others gunning for her head, due to the perception that she's (or her brother) just fine thinking of herself the best player in the world witout a slam to her name.
he should shut up. this would mean so much more coming from a fellow WTA or ATP player, not her own brother.
Safin's cool for saying that(he should defend his sister)but the only way Dinara "can prove to everybody that they can go f**k themselves" is by winning a slam, otherwise the criticsm won't stop, that's just the way it is.
Man, some of you guys are harsh on both of them. She's number 1 bc she can handle playing more tournaments and 'consistantly' perform well in each one. So if the ranking says she's #1, than she's #1 based on ranking.
On the other hand. For Safin, it's nice that he's trying to defend his sister, but if he REALLY wanted to support her, BE THERE FOR HER GRANDSLAM FINALS!
