Safin's setup?

I was wondering if any of you Racquet afficionados could tell me how Safin has his racquets set up. I've got the Head Prestige Classics 600 finally (special order - I know he doesn't use the FXP's) but I'm trying to figure where and how much lead tape. I know he has some on the 3 and 9 and probably some in the butt.

Help anyone?

Thanks,

So,his are custom made I guess?..Lighter like how?Mine are 344 strung without the lead.It felt really head light without the lead when I first started using one.

Yes, it's a lighter frame from the same classic 600 mold. I would bet that Safin's frame with all the lead tape on it still weighs less than your stock
PC600. I own both frames and you will never be able to match them.

Probably more zip on the groundies and such, a little easier around the net and for serving, but overally I think it would be still the same.

I have 2 LM prestiges, 3 pc600 and one of safin's PJ frames, and they all feel entirely different. I do use the PJ most of the time. It's such a light frame stock that you can really customize it to your liking. The PC600 give me nowhere to go but heavier. The LM's aren't terrible once you customize them with some lead tape and silicone in the handle.

Did you try Safin's weighting?

How much does Safin's PJ weigh stock?

And when you got the PJ, how much lead was on it if any and where was it placed?

Thanks!

The frame was not setup at all. And to be honest, there's really no point in having it setup the way he has it. I had it setup the way I like it, since I'm the one hitting with it. Having said that, what I ended up with was similar to how he has it as far as the lead tape in more or less the same locations, but I'm sure it isn't even close to his layup. And btw, the new pc600 that was re-released doesn't play anything like the older ones. I don't know why they would re-release an old frame, and not make it exactly like the original. I'm no expert, I can only go by how the frame feels to Me. And my new pc600 feels nothing like the frames I used to have. Just as the Classic Mid feels nothing like the Prestige Classic 600. They say it's just a name change, but I don't buy it. just my opinion.
