Sampras present at AO final

I know it's still a long shot from here, because a lot can happen in a week. I was wondering though if anyone knows whether Sampras ever said that he will be present when Federer can tie (or break?) is grandslam record. Thus, I wondered whether Pistol Pete will be present at the AO final if Federer makes it that far (I'm not saying he will, so please don't start about that again), like Borg was when Fed could tie 5 in a row at Wimbledon?

Lol.. If Fed does play nadal and wins there's a lot more records to honour than the one of Pete Sampras. I think however that Pete wouldn't miss it, even if Roger's chances are slim.
