I have never heard of that story.prestige18 said:In Fabrice's blog he talks about meeting with a company called "Inesis" with regards to designing a racquet. Has anybody heard anything else about this?
Do they still exist? I thought they went OOB a couple years ago.TennisAsAlways said:I have never heard of that story.
I have heard of that company "Inesis" however. They manufacture generic sporting good equipment and apparel. One retail chain that I know of that carries their line of products is a company called "Decathalon". Good day now. 8)
I have 2 Inesises. I dissected one for research.Exia said:Fabrice Santoro signed a three year deal June 2003 worth 155,000 euros which explains why he is in a hurry to get this Racquet finalised. Its a bit odd considering Inesis(Decathlon) are not a major Racquet supplier in North America with only one store in the Boston and and after searching the forum no one seems to have a inesis Racquet (apart from me!) but that is another topic entirely.
Is this the raquet in question?
You "know" me? I did say that I dissected my Inesis frame, but I doubt that you "know" me. Maybe you are referring to a "different" person, who also has an Inesis frame, and they happened to have dissected it just like I did? I doubt it though; what are the odds of that being the case?Exia said:if he does design a new racket i hope it is up for sale on the tennis warehouse,. Decathlon are unheard of in the us with one person i know of that owns an decathlon racket and he diseccted it!
That's the weirdest looking frame ever! Was it an edited pic? If not, what the heck is the purpose of having two handles?....Is it made for Special Olympics-type of players? *nods* What the........Deuce said:I thought this was the racquet he designed...
This frame was designed over ten years ago. A James Ridgelyr from Washington DC used it for a while. I met a gentlemen from who said he designed it in 2004 at the Men's Grass courts 50's and he played very well with it. It did make using two hands easier for an old single handed player such as myself. I found the swing weight to be higher than I like.TennisAsAlways said:That's the weirdest looking frame ever!
