If there is no new major champion at this US open, there will not be a single major winner in their 20's. I don't need to describe how awful that is for tennis and its future.

Therefore it is time for the man who needs no introduction. Zedbot, Zedmonster, Ziraffe, Zedzilla, Zvrv, the one and only Sascha Zverev to save tennis and lead the next generation.

The signs are good, he played himself into form by winning Washington. He was tired after these exploits so didn't win the next two masters but he's saving himself for the US open.

Nadal himself has described how Z is destined to win majors soon. Z's time has come. Hail the saviour of tennis, Sascha Zverev. He has a face and body that women love, best lock up your WAGs while Z is playing.

It would be very fitting if Z claims a five set win over Fedr in the final, confirming the passing of the torch to the next gen.

Zedrot can turn it round, much as he did during the clay court season. Has not been serving as well as during that time unfortunately.

Needs to get into his groove early and not be bogged down in five setters against inferior players.

Really disappointing result for Zverev and for tennis, he should have won this match. He's obviously got the game, I hope Lendl can teach him the mentality needed in majors.
