Argentine fans made the Lad Mad, but now its a huge grudge and calls player moron. Never knew Diego had such an ugly side. Went on and on in on court interview about desperate and failed Fokina drop serve today; he really didn’t like it. Pretty blatant gamesmanship literally waiting til Fokina ready to toss serve and the going for racket after two minute sit down. Clearly has anger issues and thinks its normal. It’s one thing for medvedev to insight the crowd to motivate himself quite another for this sawed off half pint to start pulling out blatant gamesmanship and retaliation to imagined slights. Diego seems to think this new attitude has brought him to a higher level of tennis.

What unsportsmanlike conduct did Medvedev do? I couldn't find the exact detail from this highlight video, after 2:47, it looked like Medvedev waved his fingers up in the air but I couldn't see the bad gesture. Diego seemed to indicate something to his team about Medvedev's fingers waving act.

And Diego is very chippy and just about his height where I'm sure he was told countless times when young that his ATP career aspirations were dubious. Even exaggerates his height on ATP listing by about 1.5 inches.

I didn't follow tennis back then, but from what I've watched and read from that era, Mac seemed like more of a dick than Jimbo. Connors was a brash maverick and a rabble-rouser but he didn't seem as entitled and self-centered as McEnroe.
