Searching for the definitive racquet

Hi, I'm an amateur player who likes playing 'agonistically' if that makes sense. I mean, I'm 30 and I've never played in any tournament. I had started playing for fun when I was 11-12, but I only rediscovered my passion for tennis in these last three years when I bought my first 'real' racquet, a Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 (2012 BLX). I attended some tennis lessons with two different teachers and they were both surprised I'd never taken part in any tournament (I consider myself just a bit more than a beginner, that was just to tell you I like playing matches, practicing difficult shots, going for full swings and power shots and focusing on technique). So, down to my racquets:
1) Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 (2012 BLX):
Good feel (flexy frame), but low weight and swingweight. Added some lead tape and screws into the handle to weight it up (370 grams): now it's better, more stable, but still a bit low powered.
2) Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 85 (TW reissue): bought just for practicing with a more demanding racquet (I play 2hbh and perfect timing is quite difficult!)
3) HEAD Graphene Radical Pro: went for this because I wanted more free power off of my racquet. Not as terrible as everyone describes it, but I find it usable only with much top spin. I like going for semi-flat winners, and balls tends to fly over the baseline with this Head. They instead are delicious with the Wilson PS 6.1 95 (I can unleash all my own power). I guess 'modern style' racquets aren't really for me.

So, in conclusion: I'm searching for a frame similar to my Wilson PS 6.1 95 as far as overall feeling and control, but with just a tad more free power from the racquet (not as much as the Head graphene, which is still considered low powered by many... who knows), higher swingweight and more stability without adding so much weight (I guess I'd like something between 350-360 grams).
After reading so many reviews, I'm focusing on these two:
1) Wilson Six.One 95 (2012 vs. 2014? 16x18 vs. 18x20?)
2) Volkl C10 Pro

Any comment, suggestion, experience with these or other racquets are welcome!!!

I used to own the last version of the 6.1 95 16x18, and that was the second most powerful racket I've owned/played with, only eclipsed by the RF97A.

If your 370g 6.1 95 feels underpowered, I would check out the strings and/or your technique (no offence). It should provide more than enough power.

That being said, try the RF97A :)

thanks for your comment smalahove, however mine is a Pro Staff, not the 'regular' 6.1. In 2012 the Pro Staff were named (don't know why) Pro Staff 6.1

Wilson Six One 16x18 vs Völkl C10 Pro

Both are great players frames.

It depends on what feel you prefer; Soft plush and more comfortable Völkl feel or that typical rock solid and firmer stiffer Wilson feel.

Most touch and feel players prefer Völkl C10 whereas hardhitting baseliners 'll prefer the more sluggish beefier Wilson Six One.

This thread might be interesting to you as well.

Sorry about that, just saw 6.1 95 and blx :)

But if you want easy access to power in a player's frame, the 6.1 95 16x18 is a great frame. If you want even more power, the RF97A is in a league of its own (in stock form).

Good luck!
