Brass breaks to get it back on serve with a nice forehand cross court passing shot - will serve 4-5. Withrow holds for 4-2

Texas A&M wins 4-1

Can't say I'm surprised by the result but it came down to 4 key TBs and A&M won all 4 so hats off to them for coming through when it counted. Pasha was up 4-1 in the 1st set and 2-0 in the 2nd and couldn't hold it. Wagland was down the entire match and couldn't hold serve in the clutch - been his story for the last month or so. Austin fought hard and was up 4-2 in the 2nd set TB but couldn't close the set out. Brasseaux with some unbelievable fight coming back from 5-1 down in the 3rd - he's got no quit in him and is a warrior. Pete was in control almost the entire match against Szabo. Surprised by the result in Wood's match - he had some break chances in the both the 2nd and 3rd sets but Withrow played well.

A&M vs Georgia. Two great teams. Great match. Happy for Jackson Withrow who has struggled a bit injury. So close in many matches. Looking forward to the great competition in the SEC tournament.

Ouch. Bad embarrassing loss for the Gators. Shelton hire losing some shine this year.
Arkansas def. UoF
&
#45 Alabama def. #26 Vandy

It's this kind of activity in the SEC with the lower ranked beating the high ranked teams that wrecks havoc on the rankings. Got to be a boost to the lower half of the conference.

What a great win for Andy Jackson, former coach of the gators. I know he's got to be happy. He's 5 times the coach that Shelton is.

I would say that Shelton will have to take time to create his own roster, which would presumably not include huge turnover, players who need to be kicked off the team, etc., which was the situation with the previous coach.

I think Shelton kicked Piro off the team as his name no longer appears on roster. Not having Spencer Newman hurts as well and I think you're right about giving Shelton time to create his own roster. Jackson had his chance and the results were not pretty.

What Jackson has done at Arkansas is more impressive than what Shelton has done at Florida thus far. And Jackson isn't working with his players either, it's effectively the same Arkansas team as a year ago.

Tennessee and Texas A&M could have upset potential today. I could see aTm coming out flat after the big win over Georgia late Friday night.

Maybe if we focus on the last two weeks or so. It has been a tale of two very different stories. UofF suffers a few tough losses. Arkansas have a couple good wins. It's a little premature to judge their body of work.

Shelton appears to be dealing with some injury issues (yea all teams do) and had to get get rid of a decent player. Likely a team cancer. Real story would be nice, but not holding my breath for that. Jackson looks have have taken over from a fatigued older once good coach (similar to the Ok State situation) and revitalized a few under performers. About 1 1/2 yeat at the helm Shelton has a pretty good recruiting freshman class in house now and a decent start on next years class. Jackson has a 3 star signed, but less than a full year on the job. He'll likely pull down a top international or two. I see it as each as situational, very different and to early to judge.

aggies won 4-0

Ole Miss took doubles, but looking again flat in singles so far
Kentucky has troubles at Alabama, down 0-1 and hands full in singles

Stropp is destroying Kallberg 6-1,3-0 right now
Msu is leading on 4 courts at Ole Miss, i fear its rebels last chance to do something for the ncaas...after that only Aggies, Gamecocks and Gators and all on the road, oh aggies at home but will not change anything..aggies real too strong for them

Alabama beats Kentucky !!! Wow..what a great weekend from them

Ole Miss is losing again...will lose 3-4 in a heartbreaker to MSU. #6 is last singles on court and Rebels lead it 7-6,4-2 but now is down 7-6,4-6,0-4...choke job from the freshman
now rebels will miss the ncaas

rebels lost 2-4..but scholtz had his singles on serve and break up
#6 Gowda broke down..losing 10 of 11 final games..that was the season for Ole Miss...i really like if the season will end now..makes no fun anymore...sad times..

Very true, and today's results show a reversion to form for both teams, with Arkansas getting whipped 4-0 and Florida winning 4-0.

He already has a stud Italian on campus that is having to RS and should be eligible next year

Box score from South Carolina - Arkansas, with bold font for seniors that Arkansas will lose, is shown below. All four players in the top two doubles teams, who also play 1-2-3-6 singles, are graduating. I suggest a big recruiting class ASAP, not just one Italian.
