If Alabama, South Carolina, and Kentucky finish in a 3-way tie at 3-9, Bama would get the 9 seed due to its win over the #4 seed Ole Miss.

Three-Team Tie (or more). The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is
broken: (Note: once the tie has been reduced to two teams, the two-team tiebreaker will be used.)
A. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the tied teams;
B. Won-lost record of tied teams versus the No. 1 team (and proceeding down through the No. 13 team,
if necessary);
C. Most recent ITA rankings; and
D. Coin toss or draw by the Commissioner or his or her designee.

Alabama scheduled 2 last minute matches at Tennessee State and won both. Kentucky did the same against Xavier and won 4-0 and 3-1. Kentucky would have to beat Florida and Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament to even come close to getting to around 45 and they'd probably still be a ways away.

I was not at the Georgia match, but heard there were a few questionable calls. Seems I've heard that a lot before when teams have played there. Apparently Scholtz and Babic already had a penalty for something so when Babic hit it out that resulted in a game. Not sure what the first infraction was. Up 6-4 in breaker and Scholtz serving you have to get that one. Might have been a closer match if they get the doubles. Lindmark would have won. They could meet again next weekend, but the outcome won't change much unless the Rebels can get the doubles point. Georgia is too good in singles for them to get four points.

Gators seeded 6, beating a dead horse here but that's just not very good

The ITA needs to step in here. 4 matches makes a dual match now?

really cannot be...over in germany we also play 6 singles and 3 doubles (every doubles point scores alone..so you can be 4-2 in singles and still lose the match if u lose all 3 doubles.) => the rules say in germany you need at least FOUR players for a match ! So you can at least play 4 singles and 2 doubles !!! (This would made at least a 4-1 win for Kentucky under german rules...and i do not think the ita does good to allow UK to come away with this? )

Vols are 42nd in new rankings, bubble region, will meet Alabama, a win brings not too much, a loss would be a killer..but i think a win should seal the deal.
SC is 45th, more threatened in the bubble and possibly out right now, but have a nice game vs LSU (#25th) , if the win this they should jump 3 to 5 places, i do not think they can beat LSU right now, but..the chance is there and the rewards too.

winless Mizzou womens beat Arky women in 1st round of SEC. This is gonna hurt Arkys ncaas, as they are #36 and an unranked loss..hmm...

I guess those 9 wins against unranked teams (all at home, including a triple header with Jackson State), didn't do much to get them ready for post season play. I believe they will drop about 5 spots and still make the NCAA tournament, but the committee really should take a stand against all the teams that are overloading their schedule with easy wins. They are 16-14 overall, take out those 9 wins and you have a team which is 7-14

Awful year by the cocks....and another awful effort by my gators today, hopefully wake up call for tomorrow

Pretty bad year for the Gamecocks indeed. I remember people saying they would be top 25 before the season started. The blue chip freshmen were not that good. Mayronne and O'Keefe were worse than mediocre during the SEC season and Adams was dreadful all year long.

Bama vs vols tied at 3. We will see a third set in decider.

Auburn down 2-3 after hinnisdaels retired in third. Bad Moment. Auburn had the momentum early.

A&M projected to go to #3 right now. What does everyone think about this team? There hasn't been too much talk about them. Are they a fringe title contender, especially with the NCAAs not being very far from college station?

Despite their high ranking, I dont think this team are as good as they were last year. The freshman have been good, but there has been instability in the lineup that wasn't present last year. However, in saying that they have depth, with top class players right down to no. 8. I think they will beat Mississipi State but not sure about Georgia. They had bad luck last year in NCAAs with Vinsant cramping in the deciding match against Cal. I think they will make round of 16 this year but not sure they will go any further. However I hope they do.

Total different match today between ole miss and uga. Competitive on every court!!! Ole Miss took four First sets :) but uga coming back and look good in second sets
