    I am 54 year old man. The last racquet I had was a Wilson T2000 Alum. I have a short stroke and like to keep the ball in play. What tennis racquet would you advise me to try / purchase. I have had difficult with light racquets because you must create :wink: more speed physical to increase pace.

    First recommendation would be to demo several racquets. Most racquets designed for people with short strokes and slow swing speeds are very light because it takes less force to get them moving and more racquet head speed is created with less strength, so more power is created with less input, so to speak. Here are some suggestions to try. These are in the "tweener" category(mid size, mid power, mid weight racquets with medium swingweights);

    PK Laver Type S or SX
    Volkl Cat 6 or 7
    Yonex MP 2i
    Wilson Hyper Pro Staff Surge 5.1
