Semi-western shots arcing into net/lobbed onto baseline

It's more rare than I would like for me to get a good shot in with a semi-western forehand. I would like a SW forehand to not arc to flat and hit the net three inches from the ground; or not lob it and it drops on the baseline.

My point of contact/follow-through is messed up somehow. Are you supposed to swing it like a windshield wiper, lean in, or swing it normally just with SW grip? My eastern is fine, but wanting to step it up.

i watched this youtube video.. "federer slow motion"... it was great. it helped me transition from eastern to semi western just the other week. i'm doing pretty good with it now, it feels really comfortable

Eastern to semi-western isnt really "stepping" it up. A lot of pros use the eastern

It's expanding your style. Besides that, most use SW/W.
