Serena a better clay courter than Henin

What makes Miami soo significant? When judging who's career is better i'd always go by the slams. And a few other variables. The way Kim ousted both Venus and Serena out in her first slams since 2 years is just bizzare. It obviously just reiterate how bad the current WTA is.

Miami is the biggest non slam event on hard courts and it is not like Henin even comes close to Serena in slam wins on hard courts right now like I said. Maybe she will in a couple years time, but right now she isnt.

...but even I have to admit that the original post is almost pure stupidity.
And you're being quite kind. Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons doesn't know tennis and he just said "Worst.....Thread.....Ever"

And almost as amusing is how the Serena backers are trying to take the topic off course and say "well, she's better on..."

You can make the following statements about Serena - and almost all female and male US pros in the last 20 yrs:

they aren't successful at clay because:
a) don't train on it as kids
b) they don't get a lot of free points off their 1st serves
c) don't learn to move and slide on it
d) don't have the patience to work their opponents in rallies and wait for the right time to go for the kill shot

Serena in 2002-2003 was a great clay courter. She just didnt sustain that level. Other surfaces even not at her best she is still great, but on clay she is only great when she is at her best like she is in 2002-2003. Still I think her clay court game has fallen off much more than the other surfaces.

Serena of 2002-2003 on clay and Henin would have had many amazing matches on the surface over the years had Serena kept at that level. Alot like the 2003 French Open semifinal minus some of the drama.
