Serena about to top most slam match wins (All time)

Man of steel

Hall of Fame
Its funny to think that years ago no one would have given her a chance of breaking some of these records.
And now she's either tying them or surpassing them.

Serena has 304 match wins in slams
Navratilova has 306 match wins in slams.
With the Us open coming up its pretty much safe to say that serena will pass this here.
So she'll be breaking two very big records come Us open time (3 if she wins Us open)
Most consecutive weeks at #1
Most slam match wins
Most slam titles in the open era.

Someone should alert TMF;)....something tells me he'll have a lot of updating to do:D.

Federer's age shows in his game. He has had to tweak to ensure longevity.

Not Serena. She just seems to keep getting better and better.

Pre-Knee injury, his age has only truly been exploited by one player. I think we know who that is.

Nadal and Serena are light years apart in terms of sportsmanship- Nadal has never broken a single racquet in his professional tennis career, unlike his "peers". Serena, on the other hand...

I expected something better NSK

You could have said ' Rafa won 14 majors without breaking even a single racket. We cannot even begin to imagine how many majors he would have if he allowed himself to channel his anger and frustration like other players

Them knees tho:oops:;)
I agree.

Nadal will have the most knees in the ATP, when the rest of his legs become multiple joints and all become injured.

Eventually, Nadal will have so many knees that his legs will become two caterpillar treads and will crush the opposition like a T-34 tank in a soviet winter.

No, smashing tennis racquets on the biggest stages just means you have personal mental issues you need to deal with, and don't belong on a tennis court. That's why Nadal has a commanding 18-6 slam h2h over Federer/Dj in slams- he's much more mentally tough than either of those overgrown babies.

And yet serena has dominated everyone unlike nadal who has an abysmal record to the likes of davydenko

A 5-6 h2h is not an "abysmal" record. An abysmal record is hardly ever beating your biggest rival on the biggest stages. A h2h like 5-7 I might be able to forgive, but 2-9? Where the majority of slam meetings took place on surfaces and circumstances which overwhelmingly favoured Federer? Just dreadful.
