Serena One Handed Backhand...

Well I just got back from the exhibition with Venus and Serena Williams @ the Key Arena in Seattle. It was pretty cool, they played well.

But during practices and a few shots Serena hit a few one handed backhand. They were superb, and it seemed more natural for her. I was really suprised to see her pull off a one-handed backhand and do it well, I think it was better than her two-handed backhand. It had good power because she took it right as it bounced off the ground a few times.

**SPOILER** HIGHLIGHT
Serena won

with lots of ppl not liking serena's attitude and game im not sure they will respond kindly but i appreciate what u hav said i truly hope 2006 season she will be fitter and try and gain back some control.

Do u think she is looking fitter seeing as u saw her live, on your opinion do u think she is ready to come back and play for real 06'?

She didn't look too fit, neither did Venus either. They were a bit out of breath on a few rallies where they had to run left and right.

But Serena is working on her net game, and she was doing well. Venus was slamming balls really hard to try to pass Serena and she got them back. Serena had real good passing shots, hitting corner to corner.

When Venus came to the net, she was alright because Venus would slam a ball at her and then Venus would react and at that instant when she was setting up for the next. The ball already passed her to the other corner.

A lot of good players can hit a decent one-hander when they're just joking around. Using it in a match is a different story.

yeah, its near damn impossible to time it properly on the run in a match. I play a 2HBH and I can hit 1HBH just fine as long as I dont have to run it down.
