Hello, my friends. I promised you to continue to show interesting racquets from my collection. And today you will have personal racquet of real WTA G.O.A.T. Serena Williams.

Serena had it all: talent, power, character, charisma and titles, titles, titles, records, records, records!
She's the only one who completed Golden Slam (all 4 GS + Olympics) in singles and doubles!

Today i will show you her personal racquet from Wimbledon-2016, where she won titles in both - singles and doubles. For the last time in her illustrious career she won Wimbledon title (in sigles and doubles).
Also i have a retail version of Wilson Blade 104 Amplifeel, so i will show you differences between Serena's racquet and retail one.
Here are the photos of personal Pro Stock Serena's racquet. You can see her customization nuances:

Now about differences.

1. When we look inside the throat we can see SERENA golden logo on her personal racquet, while retail has just Amplifeel logo.
2. Wilson logo at position 6 on racquet's head is written in green on the retail, and in Gold - on her personal stick.
3. We can see Trade Mark (TM) logo after "Blade" in the outside part of the throat and grip size sticker on retail, no of those on her personal.
4. We can see "Smart Tennis Sensor" written on the inside part of racquet's head, blank - on her personal.

And now the main differences:

5. Retail racquet was an extended one at 69,9 cm length, but Serena's personal stands at 71,5 cm with grip size 4 5/8 (5)!
6. Retail came at 289 grams unstrung, while Serena's personal at 311 grams.
7. Serena's personal racquet has a unique strings position and logically different grommets.

As a result we have 2 completely different racquets that look like the same. But only at first sight.

Hope it was useful and interesting info for you, my friends!

15ish years ago I was at Westwood Sporting Goods near UCLA for the first time - hanging up high on a wall there were several match used sticks from top pros... Djoker, Murray, Fish, and ones I don't remember. Then there's this giant freaking Blade with a *massive* grip - I mean obviously thicker and longer than any of the other (men's) ones, even at a distance up high near the ceiling. I asked - geez, who's is that Blade with the huge grip and the guy working at the shop said Serena!

the added gold color is always a nice touch in design, a good contrast from the green.

@Kalugin would you be able to compare this Serena racket to the 2016 Blade SW104. I'm curious to see if it matches up a little closer.

That is so true))

Her racquet is monstrous indeed. Really huuuuge stick! Like a truck compare to passenger car)
