Serve Critique Please Help

Well, I am a 14 year old junior and just wanted some opinions on my serve. There are only like 3 on this video because I took it on my phone.

Afterwards, my cell got screwed up and the vid would not transfer to my cpu. So, I had to use my webcam and record the video while it was playing on my phone. And yes, dont complain about my home phone ringing in the background. Now that I have wasted all of your time, I just wanted to give reason for the bad video quality.

Here is the link:

You have good kinetic loading. It looks to me your rushing the serve a little. Take your time. Toss the ball higher, and unload through the ball.

Your stance is too open. It starts closed, then opens way too early as you move your back foot. An open stance will limit power by decreasing body coil. It also tends to make your serve easy to read.

John is correct, you're also rushing. You want a smooth gradually accelerating motion. It should feel effortless. Smooth + relaxed = consistency + power.

So basically you want me to start the serve of with my left foot pointing more towards the court?

You need to watch video of pros serving.
Don't bend your waist so much....causes inconsistency at contact.
Concentrate on getting your rackethead to move fast. You're just going thru the motions.
Slow down.
Speed up ONLY the rackethead.
Concentrate on replicable prep stance.
Watch pros.
You're wishy washy strolling walkabout serving right now.
