Serve placement

Obviously serve placement is huge, but i could use some work in this area.

What are some good tips for serve placement? Can i tweak my toss depending on where i want to serve it? Is it body positioning? I need to learn to hit to the opponents backhand, that way when i rush the net, i have a better chance at a putaway.
