Serve stance

G.O.A.T.
Federer and Roddick clearly have their right feet behind their left feet when they serve or in other words, they'd be in a closed stance if hitting a forehand. Venus, on the other hand, uses the pinpoint stance and when she swings her right foot over, she winds up in an open stance on her serve. Is Venus doing something incredibly wrong? I've only seen players totally facing the net on serves from beginners. What's the deal with her form?

Even though her back foot moves forward to where it's side by side with her front foot, her shoulders still start off very closed and she gets good shoulder rotation and forward momentum into her serve.

Venus' form on the serve is far from ideal. She gets the power because she's very tall and very athletic, but IMO she opens up too soon on the serve, and that's possibly one of the factors in her shoulder problems.
I think Serena has a far better/smoother/more rhythmical technique on the serve.
Roddick and Federer don't use the same style of serve so they are not really comparable.
