Top 50 at age 19. Among top 10 players his pace is only behind Alcaraz, Djokovic, Zverev, and Sinner. I guess this tells his trajectory to top 10 in five years.

His “home soil” is Florida where he grew up and resides.
lol that's nonsense, his family resides in Beijing, his dad Shang Yi was a famous football player, a household name in China. His mom was a world champion in table tennis. Shang started to play tennis at 5 in Beijing, he went to study at Nick tennis academy after 11. He was neither born in Florida nor grew up in Florida.

You’ve obviously never met him. After you do, feel free to return and revise your opinion.

I don't need to meet him, his family was frequent guest on Chinese tv shows even before Shang started to play tennis, think about someone like Tom Brady or maybe not Brady, one of his famous teammates

slight off topic here, Zhizhen Zhang's dad Weihua Zhang, also a famous football player, also a household name in China, coincidence? Maybe, or maybe not. Their families have financial means, they can afford sending their kids to study overseas. Zhang was trained in France, Daniil Medvedev was also there in the same school, they have known each other since they were kids.
