I hope Shapo takes out Djokov, then Fed reaches 21 and then the next gen don't allow the big 3 to win even 1 slam from this US open onwards.

Even if that happened the damage has already been done. I mean do you seriously believe there won't still be lots of people out there that think Djokovic or Nadal is the greatest ever even if Federer finishes 1-2 slams ahead of them? Ain't gonna happen.

Absolutely Federer will be go down as the undisputed GOAT in that scenario because that would mean he has guarded his record by not retiring in 2012 or 2013 and fought until 2022+ to prevent 2 younger ATGs from breaking his mark.

Thing with Sampras is that he retired in 03 with 14 slams and 6 years later next gen was on 15
However Federer did not retire in 2013 with 17 slams and even 8 years later he has somehow managed to still hold on to the record, not the sole holder of it but he still holds it, so if next gen beats Djokovic in slams from now onwards and Fed wins 1 more then automatically it would be a big statement.

That would be a whole new level of marketing for Fed as the GOAT for years and years to come, maybe decades.

But sadly that won't happen, Novak is here to break the record and he most probably will, youngsters are all mugs, they cannot stop him.

Berrettini is improved from what he was, young but with more experience with a good serve on grass and Roger at nearly 40 is not at past levels.

It may be that there is another Djokovic-Fed Wimbledon final on Sunday, but it is not a given.

Federer will thrash Berettini and make the final for sure. If he has come this far then he will reach the final.

Novak is the only threat for Roger and if Shapo takes out Djokovic then most probably he will lose in the final. I dont see him take 3 sets off Roger in the final, but if he does then we have our new ATG who will rule tennis for some years. We need to see if that is the case.

We all now that Hurkacz will fold against Federer. Don't forget he was 1-2 against Medvedev, and even 40 y.o Federer is better on grass than Medvedev.

Yes, Berrettini improved but he can always throw some muggery like he did in the past. And Federer can still exploit his BH and ROS. Berrettini FH and serve must click at 100% to have a chance.

Shapovalov is a Wawrinka-Nadal hybrid like (Wawrindal or Nadrinka), always a danger for Djokovic.
