Shelton is ready to beat Sinner,
he is rested and in perfect physical condition and super inspired with consistent and amazing shots as demonstrated today, his backhand has improved a lot and his tolerance in rallies is now at the level of the best + his return of serve is constantly improving,
he has the nastiness and hunger needed to beat the Ginger satan and he will be the first 00s born not named sinneraz to make finals slam,
he has the weapons the physique and athletic explosivness plus cojones factor.
the boy is coming.
he will drop Aces left and right and crash that lefty heavy forehand on the carrot fragile movements.

Shelton is only 23 and maybe 2026 is his coming-out year. As I've said before, there was nothing about 2023 Sinner that gave a hint of 2024 Sinner.

That said, I don't see Shelton upsetting Sinner unless it's very hot and they play during the day with the roof opened.

The only way to beat Jannik is either being Alcaraz or praying for some extreme heat

Their matches are always very tight despite Sinner always winning. Think it may go 5.

First question for OP: when will you learn to stop making guarantees ?

I’m curious. What has changed since they last played? Seems like after AO last year he claimed he knew what he had to do, only to repeat the same tactics in London, then in Paris, and so on.

For his sake, something has to change tactically bc what he’s done hasn’t worked. And we already know the conditions won’t be an issue.

Momentum was lost when he got injured at the US Open.

Shelton looks too emotional to ever be a slam champion.
And its not even negative emotion, its just his overall demeanor is too soft.
You can tell he was raised with the wrong philosophy, as his father behaves very emotionally too.
This Sinner match will be a reminder of the massive difference between Shelton and a grand slam champion.

Right when Shelton has match point, the organizers will stop the match to repave the court

I heard there is a switch operated by Darren Cahill that operates an underfloor heater of all the Australian courts forcing them to pause the match to close the roofs or cancle play.

Sinner has beaten Shelton at the AO before while barely getting out of third gear. That’s most likely what will happen again.

Fake player allegiances for the sake of a relevant troll account ?

Sounds like projection, coming from you... MichaelDjokovic.
I remember you switched allegiance to Djokovic, when Nadal was struggling in 2015-16.
That makes you the worst Nadal fan of all-time... and as fake as a wrestler.
Whereas the only players I've ever supported since 2004 are Nadal and Alcaraz!
You only post here so that you have an audience for your wrestler and food pictures...

Sinner is winning his third AO title,
tbf he is very lucky that Shelton knocked out Vacherot for him.
It is almost a nostalgic reminder of the 2011 RG tournament, where Federer knocked out a red hot Djokovic, which ended up giving Nadal a much less hard time winning the trophy.

Jokes aside, I think that Sinner vs Shelton QF will be akin to watching Morgoth fight against Fingolfin (in The Silmarillion).
The underdog would most likely put up a very good fight and even hold the upper hand in some brief moments, but ultimately, it is obvious that he never stood a chance against the winner, and the outcome remains unchanged.
