Shoe advice

#1
I have worn The Kswiss Bigshot since it came out. They have given me good comfort and stability. However as I've gotten older-I'm a very fit 67- I want shoes that will take better advantage of my strengths -mobility and quickness. comfort is very important, but I really want something that will let me move quicker and change direction on a dime. I've been a trail runner all my life. I wear lightweight shoes for this activity that really hold my feet. There are a ton of shoes out there. It's crazy. I recently tried The Kswiss Knitshot. They did not give me a snug feel. I would like to try another brand.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Jerry

Try the Asics Gel Court FF. It's lightweight and small enough that it will help you with mobility and quickness. It also has enough cushioning for your 67 year old knees. It's also very secure fitting. That was a weakness of the Gel Res series. They didn't have a secure fit and had too much heel slippage. The Court FF fixed all that with a booty system. It's so secure that one day I played a point with my shoe laces untied, but I didn't realize it until I looked down! The only drawback is you might find it difficult to put your feet in it, but once it's in there it's locked in.

I got my first pair of Gel Court FFs about a month ago, and love them. I can't find them anymore, it seems like perhaps they discontinued the line? I just got some of the new Asic Solution Speed FFs (In the TW exclusive grey/gold) and they are the most ridiculously uncomfortable shoe that I've ever worn. This would include a $10 pair of dress shoes I bought as an emergency for a job interview. I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave a negative review for these shoes, and I have never done a critical review in my life.

The FF 2 is supposed to come out in April.

If you want light, fast shoes take a look @ the lightweight lines of shoe companies such as Babolat Jet, Nike Vapor X, Adidas Ubersonic, Asics Gel Solution Speed FF, etc. Will give you a much lighter feel, good traction, etc.
