My K-Swiss Ascendors need to be replaced, and I'm looking for suggestions for some new shoes. In the past year, I've had the Barricade IV's (loved them, wish I could still find my size), Babolat All-Courts (they were OK, wore out WAY too fast for a $100 shoe), Adidas CC Feathers (good shoe - I use an arch support with them, but they're a nice light shoe) and the Ascendors (good fit, comfy, but they're only 9 weeks old and they're beyond worn out).
I tried the Barricade V, but hated the fit.
I have a moderately high arch, and like a good stable shoe. I'd prefer something under $100, as I do destroy shoes. I'm a toe-dragger, and that causes my shoes to have a limited lifespan.
I've been looking at the Diadora stuff, as well as the Adidas Ultimate Edge and the Asics Gel Resolution. Anything to look at? Anything to avoid?
