Shoes for wide and long forefoot?

I’ve been struggling for many years with ill fitting shoes. Older basic Wilson 2E shoes were the best fit. Once they stopped making those, I’ve been all over the place. The most comfortable toe box are the Novak Adidas shoes, but even they are a bit cramped across the ball of the foot. My big toe and pinky toe knuckles are usually way too compressed on the sides.

. Here’s the breakdown: 7.5-8 shoe size length , very wide and square toe box, slightly wide mid foot and heel, and high arches. Anyone with a similar foot type, that has found the holy grail?

About your best bet is to find a real shoe store and have them measure you up. Not one that you measure yourself. I have had a horrible time finding tennis shoes that fit me well. It took a real shoe store to measure me correctly to find the exact shoe size I really needed. I played around and tried shoe after shoe and wasted probably $1000 on ill fitting shoes before I was actually fitted correctly. Because once you wear them outside you cannot usually send them back for a refund. Now it is a LOT easier to find the right tennis shoe.

I have very high arches and have always found New Balance to be comfortable, may be worth a fitting.

I was going to mention NB shoes. They seem to have shoes that can fit just about every foot. I agree with you, nice choice.
