Shoes on indoor basketball court

My wife plays pickleball on an indoor basketball court. What kind of shoes should she be wearing for this?

Thanks!

-either tennis or basketball shoes will do
-flat sole sports shoes
-you want the shoe to have "lateral support", like in tennis and/or basketball
-running shoes are bad, no lateral support and too much grip!
-tennis and basketball shoes are suppose to slide when they need to, mainly to prevent rolling your ankles from too much grip and or poor lateral support

-i wear my regular tennis shoes (adidas/kswiss) indoors and outdoors to play pickleball

Some of the basketball courts I play on are slippery because they are dirty or worn out. The only shoes I have that always grips are my Adidas Stycon clay tennis shoes that I only use indoors.

BB shoes that I only wear indoors on said slippery courts. We have taken to wiping our shoes on a damp towel to gain traction. Some players wear gum soled shoes and claim those are best for wooden floors.

Volleyball shoes, badminton shoes and some cross-trainers are worth considering. This TW (TP) website has a number of shoes meant for indoor p'ball

I tend to keep a pair of shoes for indoor only. Only worn while on the courts. I prefer Tennis shoes, but any basketball, volleyball, badminton, cross trainer should work.
