SHoes with strap

Hi,

I have a rather fragile heel (ankle level) and the first thing i look for in a tennis shoe is heel support. So I would like to buy a shoe with a strap on the heel, in order to tighten the heel part directly.
Does anybody no any tennis shoe models with this feature? Even old ones?

Wilson Opens have a heel strap that you can tighten.

I would not rely on the shoe if you really need extra support though. Either buy a heel cup or a achilles or heel support brace depending on exactly what your is problem.

It's more a achille support that I need. The W. Opens are not appropriate because my heel is only tighten by a string. A strap would be much better.
Any other ideas?

There is also a sneaker lacing pattern that tightens up the heel. You do a loop parallel to the tongue on the last two holes then lace through the loop you just created. This pulls the collar of the sneaker more snug. This works better with some sneaker hole patterns than others, though.

Have a look at x-blades from Australia, they have a intergrated support, not really a Tennis shoe but what is now days?

I'd be very careful relying on a shoe to provide this support. Since you have a real physiological issue, you'd be better served to have it addressed via taping, orthotics, and/or braces, as per a qualified doctor (or at the very least a trainer).

MS4 have the strap across your forefoot, across the top of your toes.
