Short little vid of me hitting

Ill be honest that’s one of the worst videos I’ve seen and it has nothing to do with your tennis :p Get a $10 tripod and put the camera behind you next time and preferably NOT facing the sun :p

There's a big plain that goes down hill, and there's a neighborhood at the bottom.

and yea sorry for the shabbyness, I'll try to get some more video tomorrow. Hope everything works out

I think...my retinas are fried!!

The video was really bright, you probably should fix where you put the camera the next time you film.

Hey first of all kudos for having the guts to put your vid up.

secondly, this forum will put anvils on your legs and bring you down to earth. Forget what you think looks good, because in the end all that fire will be snuffed out. (at least if you're under a 5.0)

Trust me, I know a few things about being humbled by the wonderful people on this forum.

Put up a new video and lets see what you got! (WITHOUT the sun this time)

Nobody is saying anything about his game just his recording skills lol. I like seeing our members hit and putting some faces to the posters regardless of skill level. Fun to watch regular guys hitting. Plus, I’ve never seen the good players knock on somebody’s ability on this forum. Pretty much the biggest and loudest critics seem to be the worst players.

No, a view from behind hides your technique. People just seem to want it because they can't recognize what's good vs bad unless they see where the ball lands.
Preferably a frontal view a little sideways.

As for the rest it's true, difficult to see and much too short with an interrupting ball from the neighboring court.

edit: and no those weren't good hits. 1/3

Well I opened the vid and had a little chuckle at the comments on the lighting etc, and it was a harmless enough tape.......until.

I watched till the end then had to rewind to double check.

Things are still falling into place as I digest this but here are my thoughts so far...

First this is not a video about tennis, the angle is not good, the lighting is terrible, and in case you were still in any doubt, there are only a couple of icantbebothered shots on there.

But what was on there was illuminating, pardon the pun.

You had a ball come across your court, you pretended not to see it, and didnt fetch it, forcing the other guy to scamper across and get it. When he did get it you asked if it was his ball, or something, thereby giving credence to the fact that you allegedly had not seen it.

Then you approached the net, and I had my tech guys blow up the volume and I can make out "tyres" "knife" and "kick his arse".

Then you came back and hit an overhead, clearly signifying the intent and explosive action you are capable of. Then it stopped before you even hit another shot, telling us clearly this is not about tennis.

This is a tennis haiku, it has at least 3 hidden layers of meanings. The first exposed message is this is a tennis clip and its not that good quality. The first hidden message is that if this is not about tennis, then its about something else, but what. The clues i mention above are all there to show the next hidden layer.

The conclusion to be drawn is that you are a bad arse for hire, you will step in to right wrongs, or just plain kick arse, wherever your clients need you, whether its bullying at college (Drillbit Taylor ring a bell?), or some protection tax to be levied, or bodies to be disposed of.

Its a very clever clip, and you intent is not lost on this forum. I will get my techies to review some of the footage again, and we will find the hidden pixel behind which lies the URL to how you can be contacted privately for any job that needs to be done, and done quick, no questions asked, cash only.

Good Luck.

I am speechless... had to repeat a small segment of it a few times to believe what I was seeing.

lol not much hitting in this one either, but is it a little better?

when i recorded these I didn't really think too much about the lighting; I'll have to take it in consideration next time

What was up with the woman throwing a bottle atnthebfencebthen onto the court?

lmao that was my friend's cousin, and she was giving him a can of penn balls; untill this day I have no idea why she threw them at the fence like 5 times

Do you have any recordings of you actually hitting?lol

You should always play with a few tennis balls not one or two. It's hard enough to critique your shots when it's 1-3 rally points, but then you have to get every ball you hit out/net.

no lol :(

most of my friends are very inconsistant, and the guy i was hitting with wasn't doing good that day. I might rent a ball machine a record some of that action
