Shortening a PT57A XL ?

    I believe the SW will not be as high but hopefully someone will chime in.

    It's a shame you can't stay with the sticks as is. They sound amazing in terms of specs, and of course the frame itself.

    I think that you might be a little confused here. I can't see why an XL frame would cause you shoulder problems while serving. Is it possible that there could be some issues with your mechanics/technique on your serve. I know that when I try to serve on a bad toss and get myself twisted that it can produce some serious shoulder pain.

    Maybe someone could look at your serve and see if there is a way to remedy that before you take a saw to your frames.

    Ryushen21 beat me to it. XL could cause your RHS to be slower on serve/ground strokes if your technique is suspect. Should not harm the shoulder. My racquet specs are 340 gm, 32 cm and SW 337-336 and I don't have any shoulder issues.
