shorts?

so do dri-fit shorts make any difference than regular shorts?

This past weekend at my tournament, I noticed that my shorts & boxers get wet/sweaty from all the running around, and I was wondering do dri-fit shorts make any differnce?

i have a pair of reg drifit shorts,
not specifically for tennis, but they have side pockets so i use them for everything

Theyr fantastic, i mean ive played for a solid 2 hours and i barely sweat with the shorts(just in that area, i sweat normally in my upper body and legs)
it really does a good job of keeping you cool

i was actually thinking about getting a drifit shirt, but havent gone shopping a while, lol

No, but breifs / spandex will work better than boxers for running around.

I think shirts are more important then shorts because your body is in direct contact with shirts. More important then shorts are good compression shorts, expensive, but find an off brand like champion or russell on the clearence rack at Dick's and go with that, really helping with sweaty bottom.

I find Dri-Fit shorts to dry much faster than, say, cotton shorts. Thus, when you sweat, the sweat on the shorts dry really fast so that you don't feel wet and clammy all the time. In fact, when you wash the shorts, you can air dry them as they dry incredibly fast all on their own.

dri-fit pants keep you somewhat cooler, but not a BIG difference. I like them cause i like the material and like to where dri-fit stuff. Briefs work better then boxers, trust me I've tried both while hitting at tennis and thats why i only wear briefs to play tennis. I guess it gives more air to circulate or something so you don't sweat as much in your shorts. I don't know.
