Should Alcaraz sign Carlos Moya once Nadal retires?

Break To Win

Semi-Pro
Of course Ferrero's work is good. But it's not great.

But I think Alcaraz in a few years will need to be more aggressive than it is.

And Moyá made Nadal more aggressive and made Rafa shorten the points instead of grinding, grinding and grinding.

I think Ferrero has already given what he had to give.

Alcaraz needs to take other steps if he wants to be more regular during the season.

idk that Ferrero is the issue or that Moya would have the same interest in Alcaraz as he does Nadal who he's been mentoring and playing with since he was a kid - I think it's a very different kind of relationship, Ferrero is more than fine. I think say Casper Ruud would benefit more from a new coach than Alcaraz and he's already pretty close with Rafa as an academy kid and now training and playing with him a lot (exhibitions etc...), he might make more sense for Moya/Nadal after they move on (or Moya might just want to hang it up after Rafa)
No way. Federer will not take on a role as coach of a specific tennis player.

I believe he will captain the Swiss team in the Davis Cup, and Luthi will be his assistant.
Federer will wait for Bjorn Borg to move on and he'll be the Team Europe captain for Laver Cup because he stands to profit from that, idk that Davis Cup is really of much interest to him

Acting as Europe Team captain for Laver Cup is a very easy and relaxed job, as Borg has shown us.
You just have to keep silent and clap your hands to cheer your players once in a while.
I don't think Borg would quit this high paying money for nothing job easily.

I mean look, if Roger wasn't such a student of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if he kicked him out - but it depends how ticket sales go I think, if they need a refresh at some point adding some Federer star power is a pretty easy tactic for them to try and they can just not renew Borg's contract and refresh the captains with maybe Federer for Europe and someone like Agassi, Roddick or dare I say... Serena Williams for Team World

Ferrero made him theplayer he is,and he is a fine player. At just 20. I donot see him needi ga new coach, only if it doesn,t work outfor another 2 years.

I wonder if Andre Agassi is still interested in training anyone?
He could teach the boy wonder a lot.
