He may not be the most intrinsically gifted tennis player ever. Not the most talented like Fed and Nadal or Mac with a racket. He’s not a prodigy or savant . But the other intangibles, I would make sure his brain is studied by Oxford, John Hopkins etc on how he adapts to everything and check the areas of the brain that inhibit physical and mental drive. His brain actually could be a key to science going forward

I think the three brains that should be studied with a court order are Michael Jordan’s, Wayne Gretzky’s and Novak djokovics. We could unlock future genetic material. What creates the drive and makes them tick

If I’m not mistaken, Einstein’s brain was extensively studied after his death—yet I struggle to recall any definitive insights we gained from it.

And finally, is the study of a cadaveric brain still necessary in an age of advanced imaging and computational modeling?

You underestimate Djoker's physical talents. In some physical attributes, he was inferior to Fedal; in others, he was superior. On their matches, Nadal set out to avoid Djoker's BH side!

You’re one of the best poster here op but I have to disagree with you on this. Who said Djokovic is not that talented?? His talent is supreme for modern baseline era , why he’s winning is not because of his brain but his movement and talent. Fedal couldn’t move as good as Nole post 35

Most naturally gifted player outside Mcenroe Sampras and Federer, he has arguably underachieved in his career at the biggest moments against the very best so unless this study is about fragility under pressure and what causes it then no.
 
Does he adapt so well? He certainly didn’t adapt to an environment of Covid vaccines. In fact he maladapted to the point he got deported and lost his chance at his best slam.

I think the problem with this is you think by studying how his brain works you can help people. Everything he did, you just gotta put the work in and do it yourself. The science is created by a higher force anyways as you can see through perfect timing of events happening around you. A successful application of studying Djokovics brain would be a pill that helps trigger certain parts of the brain right? Does that really sound like something anyone really needs? And then if some ppl have the pill and others don't then what? I don't know just the ramblings of my mind tackling this topic. I could be wrong.
