Should I Increase Racket Weight

I currently have a stock PS90 Blx so that should be about 357g.

It's really easy to swing for me (idk why people say it's heavy), so should I increase weight just because I can?

Is it better to weigh up the racket as much as you comfortably can, or is there a better strategy to choosing racket weight?

The attributes of your racket should enhance your ability to play tennis. Saying I need to add weight just for the sake of adding weight is not valid. I have added weight in the past if the racket felt like it wasn't driving through contact sufficiently, or if it felt difficult to generate pace and depth, or if volleys felt weak. You want to consider how the racket plays and determine if adding weight can help you play better with the racket instead of just beefing it up because you can.

My BLX 90 is very head light, and I feel it could use some weight (for instance at 3 and 9), to give it serious sw. Have not tried it, because I am playing my Federer 97.
Btw, I play my 97 with just two overgrips, putting the weight at about 346g.

Your RF97 with 2 overgrips and strung is at 346 g?? Mine is at 371g in the same configuration.

You will have your answer when you try it out. Weight it up snd play with it and see how you go in match play over a period of a tournament and things will become more evident one way or another. I use 360g and love it.

I think he means he's removed the leather grip and put 2 overgrips? The leather grip is about 25-27g, so a savings of maybe 18-20g?

I would choose increasing swing weight, polarity, twist weight and balance over randomly weighing it up.
