Shoulder pain during play.

Rookie
Hi guys,
I have an interesting situation.
First i had pain at right deltoid(back) nearly 1 month ago.
It is gone after 2 weeks strech and training;and now i have front shoulder pain mainly triggered by flat serve.
After a set the pain is starting to increase and at the end of the 2nd set i can barely hold the racquet since both triceps and elbow starts to ache too.
Interestingly after both matches in the morning there were almost no pain!!!
Can this be about nerves?
Thanks all...

First of all, if the pain is not going away real fast, or keeps recurring you should have it checked out by an orthopedic sports medicine specialist.

Are you absolutely positive you have correct technique? Here's a video tip to lessen the likelihood of shoulder problems:

What kind of racquet and strings are you using? (Hopefully,
neither are overy stiff.)

Are you doing forearm and shoulder program to help prevent injury?

Thanks for useful info.
I found that video after pain which is very useful;thanks for posting it for everyone.
Probably i produced this after a boring match at which i served in a hurry to finish quickly.
Or after some weight training without proper warm up.
Those exercises you posted; i apply with band quickly softens sholders and relieve pain too.
I ll see phys. on Monday wil update then, thanks.

I'm glad you found the info helpful.

Perhaps you will find the following link also helpful. SystemicAnomaly originally posted it and it is a 20 minute lecture from the USTA describing the way the shoulder works, and how important good technique is in preventing shoulder injuries. I don't think it is overy technical, and now at the time you are having shoulder problems may be the best time to view this. Also it may help for your teaming up with your phys. on Monday to get your best results.
Rotator cuff injury http://www.tennisresources.com/inde...ail&basicsearch=1&media_name=&rv=1&vidid=3712

Beyond rest, recovery, and specific exercises for shoulder injuries, I also suggest finding someone who is good at deep-muscle massage to help gain shoulder mobility.

It is painful, but it in my experience (admittedly anecdotal) it helps the healing process.

I have seen doc today, just minor abrasion at the upper side of rotator cuff.
May lead to impingement syndrome if not trated but very minimal damage at the moment..
He suggested a new method which is a machine that heals with pulses.
But i did not decide yet since it is too expensive.
Will not serve for a while.

Exactly!
I found another glitch about serving:i somehow stopped leaning forward after serve;that exactly triggers the point.
I think most cases are caused by poor body movement in tennis injuries.
