The first slam final I was a member of TTW for. (Besides Venus slaying the previous day of course ) Still remember grilling out for it and I was living frat-style with like 5 other guys in a huge house. None of them followed tennis closely but they all knew who Federer and Nadal were. I was so drained at the end of this thinking Rafa blew his last shot and he woule never win Wimbledon. Easier to appreciate now, epicness incarnate. 2007 Federer was a BEAST.

Great match, very intense with several momentum swings packed in those 5 sets. Such nice ambience to it as well, the bright sunlight and all.

Rafa's sleeveless Wimby kits are iconic. The contrast of that next to the traditionally dressed Federer. Just so genuinely movie-like, when the rival characters are supposed to be opposites of each other in everything.

There was nothing like a Fedal match when they were both close to their peaks. Sure, Djokovic is great and has been involved in some titanic battles but Fedal matches are just at another level of epicness
