Signature functionality on the boards

Any way you can deactivate the signature functionality? Quotes and pictures were already annoying but now there is this trend of adding animated GIFs in there which most of the time are not even tennis related... Please...

For example:

Frodo Baggins, he has not contributed ANYTHING to these forums, and constantly annoys the rest of us.

Now he has two animated GIFS of hobbits stabbing each other (??)

At the very least, make the GIFS have to be tennis related.
