Signed Up for First USTA tourniment: What to expect?

I just signed up for my first USTA Tournament.
I jumped right into a Men's Singles Open Sanctioned SE tournament.
What should I expect the competition to be like?
I've won two 4.0-4.5 local tournaments in my area (non-USTA) in 2013.
Will I be out of my league in an Open level?
I've joined USTA to find some tougher competition, so I'm excited to play some good players!

So Is there any advice or tips i should know about USTA Open Tourneys???

The people that win them are usually 5.5 or better. You'll be in for some good competition.

What's the prize money ?

any decent purse (like $1000+ for first place) can draw 6.0+ players. Last year the local tournament that has a first place prize of about $1000-1250 (I think) was won my a former pro player who had a career high ATP ranking of 516.

If I were you, I'd just expect to have fun and not be upset if you get blown out.

Good advice! Expect tough competition. From the Men's Open matches I have watched in passing while playing NTRP tourneys those guys are very good players. I have a hunch that there are a number of JR players. That is my view from NorCal. Good luck and do make sure to have some fun!

Yes I'm not expecting more than just having fun. I just wanted to see what the comp is like at this level in my area. Will give me something to work towards.
it starts next Friday, so I'll report back when I get double bageled
