Signum pro other strings

Hi i've been using Poly Plasma (SPPP) as a cross with Natural Gut mains (52 NG/48 SPPP). I enjoy the string because it's soft, good control and keeps tension for a long time (for a poly). Meaning the string bed feels nice and stays consistently playable for at least 15+ hours. I'm using that in a pure strike 3rd gen 16x19.

Would anyone be able to compare the other signum pro strings (like polaris, hyperion, firestorm or others) against the poly plasma. The SPPP has been around forever and is excellent value. I'm trying to distinguish if it's marketing that separates newer polys from this, or if there really are added benefits. For example if one of the others had similar comfort and longevity but much more spin (as a cross with natural gut) then that might make it worth it. Maybe the same question applies for newer polys in general, are they marketing or is the tech really that different.

Thank you

firestorm is soft but durability not great. Polaris is suppose to be the updated version of firestorm. Soft smooth slick round copoly that has good tension maintenance but only good as a cross string…in a full bed felt too mushy.

Thanks. Though SPPP is supposed to do the same right, soft, smooth, good as a cross. Is Polaris that much better and worth the higher cost.

I've tried Hyperion and for me, it was either a wooden board or just okay. Nothing really stood out and I really wanted to like it.

I've tried Mefaforce and imo it's like SPPP with a little more feel and power. I can still swing out with confidence with my 18x20 Ultra Tour and the tension maintenance is top tier as usual. I think it's underrated because of SPPP.

The plasma pure is soft, but it's spongy. Not my cup of tea. HyperG to me is spongy, but it still provides crisp ball pocketing. There were some moments when it was actually too stiff.

All string gauges I used were either 1.23mm or 1.25

polaris is softer and more slick/smooth than sppp. I used to love SPPP but over time, it became too low powered for me
