Silent Partner Tennis Ball Machines! ---HELP!!!!

Hi, everybody:

I just got a silent partner star (new) and played with it for three times.

The problem for me is that I can not contorl it. Even I set the slowest speed(no spin or top spin) and put the machine far behind the baseline (3-4 meters), the ball always went way out the other baseline (the speed is to high?). I also tried to adjust the elevation, it still did not work ( hit the net or to the sky). The balls I used are brand new "Dulop Championship all courts".

Anyone can help me to figure out how to deal with this?

the other problem is the remote control. it worked well at first time, after that it only work in about 6 meters between it and the machine. I just replaced a new battery, but nothing changed.

I highly recommend that you contact the manufacturer.

Dial in a lot of topspin and see what that does for you. Check the elevation control. Maybe jack it down a little. make sure the machine is fully charged.

Mine arrived fully dialed in and ready to rock. About a week after it arrived, I was playing with the controls and got crossed up for a bit but dialed everything back and all was fine. Contact SP. they will get you going quickly.

Regarding the remote issue, check the battery. Mine works anywhere on court.

Don't panic. it sounds like a small issue.

Sounds like you are not setting the height adjustment properly. Try moving the height adjustment to the middle position as you should see a difference.

I have the Silent Partner Pro and at the lowest speed settings the ball should definitely not go long in the court. Call Silent Partner, they have very, very good customer service.

sell it on 3bay and get lobster elite 3 best machine out there i love it but i dont think you need remote unless your hitting alone and will be tourning it on and alot every 5 mins.

at the slowest speed the ball should barely come out of the machine, might drop like 10 ft in front of the machine. the machine doesn't do so well with flat shots do to it's height so i do recommend topspin, i usually set mine to high.

as for the speed issue are you sure you have it on low instead of high? otherwise you have a serious malfunction.

it might help if you take a picture of your settings. also, the elevation stand for lobs isn't is in use right? cause that'll cause the ball to go long for groundstroke practice.
