It looks like I've missed a bunch of those. In 2017, Federer won the AO, IW, Miami, Halle, and Wimbledon, but was #3 in the world. That's 2 slam titles, 2 Masters, and 5 titles overall, but #3 still.

Definitely. 2024 is like 2022 in some ways where the rise of a young talent becomes a secondary show to someone else racking up multiple slams. This time it's the younger Alcaraz taking the shine away from Sinner, but in 2022 it was the veteran Rafa who did what he did on one foot at times!
