Since both became Slam winning machines in 2011 (16 and 11 slams won):

AO: Djokovic 2-0
RG: Nadal 4-1
WI: Djokovic 2-0
UO: 1-1

YEC: Djokovic 2-0

Indian Wells: Djokovic 2-0
Miami: Djokovic 2-0
MonteCarlo: Djokovic 2-1
Madrid: 1-1
Rome: 3-3
Canada: Nadal 1-0
Bejing: Djokovic 2-0
Doha: Djokovic 1-0
ATP Cup: Djokovic 1-0

Djokovic leads in 9 tournaments they met in (AO, WI, YEC, Indian Wells, Miami, MonteCarlo, Bejing, Doha, ATP Cup), Nadal only in 2 (RG, Canada).

6-5 overall at clay Masters.

Having positive h2h with Nadal in the clay Masters with so many matches was almost impossible.

Another interesting set of stats.
Doesn't it just tell us what we already know- that Djokovic had his peak(s) 2011 and after while Nadal had already completed the career slam by the end of 2010? Djokovic has for the most part had a better last ten years than Nadal and been better than him on two of the three surfaces, but....so what?
As someone pointed out above, they are both the same age.
Is there anyone who was debating this?

9 slams to 1 before 2011. Not a fair comparison.

Nadal peaked earlier, props to him for that.
Not in Hardcourt! Djokovic played in the 2007 USO F and won AO a full year earlier than Nadal. 2010 USO was his third hardcourt F while it was the second F Nadal had participated but somehow to you Not a fair comparison!

At USO (from 2007 to 2009) :
Djokovic : F-SF-SF
Nadal : 4R-SF-SF
Record against non-Federer players during that period
Djokovic : (16-0=100%!!!!!!!!!!)
Nadal : (13-3=81%)
But yea, Djokovic was not at his peak!

Nadal is 2-15 against Djokovic outside clay since 2011. Damn...o_O

Yeah, before 2011 doesn't count, but periods like 2014-2016 (when Nadal was at his absolute worst) count. :-D:-D:-D:-D
Nadal is always at his absolute worst according to you anyway. So..
Look how bold and brave we are during the "peaceful times", how much better Nadal is at tennis than Djokovic during the "off season", but come next big tournament you'll be first to sh!ttng your pants here at the prospect of Nadal facing Djokovic. Lol

and you'll be the first and only one calling Zverev a stronger server than Roddick and a fiercer competitor :D

I love how everything pre-2011 doesn’t count, but periods like 2015-2016 are seen as impressive by beating up on Crapdal. When Joker was in crappy form they played a whopping 2 times. When RAFA was at his absolute worst they played almost 4x as much. The H2H is 29-27, basically a 50/50 split. Looking back now this rivalry has always been surface dependent. They’ve just played on HC a little bit more.

Legend of Borg

I think Rafa will end up winning the slam race and he's always going to have an inherent number advantage over Djokovic simply because of how effortlessly he wins the French every year

Djokovic doesn't have that free gimme and he barely won his pet slam last year

when Rafa does end up with the most slams, these arbitrary "since X year Y player hasn't beaten Z player in this slam" won't mean jack diddly squat, sorry to say

Why the push back in here? Djokovic has completely owned this game the last 10 years in every way. This really is nothing we didn't know already anyway. All good things must come to an end but Djokovic should be really proud of how he dominated for a whole decade.

Makes ugly reading for Novak. Dominated in slams by Nadal.
More proof of Pete's unique place in tennis history as a GOAT candidate who not only dominated his historically deep competition, but his rivals, most of them ATGs themselves, as well.

You should read Djokovic's book ''Serve to win'', where he said he became a new player in 2011.

Anyway Nadal was not great in 2015-16, that's true.

Let's try to see the H2H in years both won Slams (2008, 2011-14, 2018-20):

AO: Djokovic 2-0
RG: Nadal 5-0
WI: Djokovic 2-0
UO: 1-1

YEC: Djokovic 1-0
Olympics: Nadal 1-0

Indian Wells: Djokovic 2-0
Miami: Djokovic 2-0
MonteCarlo: 1-1
Madrid: Djokovic 1-0
Rome: Nadal 3-2
Canada: Nadal 1-0
Cincinnati: Djokovic 1-0
Bejing: Djokovic 1-0
Queen's: Nadal 1-0
ATP Cup: Djokovic 1-0

Djokovic leads in 9 tournaments.
Nadal leads in 5 tournaments.

Not a big difference with OP's 9-2.

why not taking career stats?
they were born 1 year apart

And Djokovic beat Nadal only in 5 of the 59 non-clay Slams while he is considered the best hardcourt player of all time.
Include clay and you will get the whole picture.
Considering that Djokovic won more matches than Nadal at each of those 3 slams guess who was the one who was not reaching the match between the two.

Wins over Big3:

AO: Djokovic 6 > Nadal 3
WI: Djokovic 5 > Nadal 2
UO: Djokovic 4 > Nadal 2

Lucky draws. Djokovic drew Federer in his semi 4 consecutive times from 2008 to 2011...

11 hardcourt slam titles to 5 is more right.

but Fed is the weak era mugs champion, isn't he? a Fraud, a chokerer and a vulture who got all his titles and weeks at #1 due to lucky draws, weak era bla bla bla
so defeating him should be a fairly easy task for the greatest player of all times, isn't it?

All the stats point to Djokovic being the best player of the big 3 with the toughest competition... but Djokovic lucky, Federer old, Nadal declined (despite being born 1 year earlier)

Better at two of the slams (French and US Open).

How can you even be considered the "Hardcourt GOAT", when you have a losing record to and less titles at the US Open than "clay merchant" Nadal? LOL!
Has 1 more US open but definitely isn't better. Djokovic had 5 times Federer in the semi final, has more top 5/10 wins, higher win %, more finals.

Nadal vultured two USO in 2017 and 2019 where Federer was injured, and Djokovic was absent and then injured.
