Since 2011 the best player is Novak Djokovic

It's a simple but staggering fact. Nobody won as many slams and trophies as him. 13 slams since 2011, Nadal 8 and Fred 5, winning 3 slams in 2011 and 2015.
Fact.
Since 2011 the king of tennis is Novak Djokovic. He's the best player in activity and the best for almost a decade now.

That was the year Fed turned 30. How has Djoker managed to best him in that time span?

So?? I think most people would agree with this, even Fedal fans. Djokovic prime was 2011 to 2016, so its natural he has been the best player sinse 2011.

He has done very well indeed and has done it against the best. It’s nice to see him back after such troubles, although the donut serving thing in the subway on the today show was a little odd.

It's a simple but staggering fact that Federer was 30 years old in 2011, and he was years past his peak whereas in the time span you mention, Djokovic was between 24-31.

Fact.

Now let's take another period when Roger was actually in his 20's:

2003-2010.

Guess what? He won 15 slams.

I don't see any contradiction here. 15 slams before 2011 for Fred.
It just confirms that since 2011 Federer slowed down mostly because Novak Djokovic has become the superior player.

And still is the best of the 3 atm
Outside clay, yes he is. Obviously.

But you have to understand that the only reason Fedalovic can keep winning at this rate 2017/2018, is that they dont have to face 24/25y old versions of themselves (or other players at that level)

I tell you why. Easy.
Djokovic was not around. When he peaked, around 2010-2011, he won more than twice the number of slams Federer did.
Also, Federer himself says he plays now better than he used to.
So there you go

Yes, since 2011, Djoko is best player. And, since forever Federer is the best player and Nadal is the best clay court player.

Djoko is 5 years younger than Federer which is commonly accepted as a tennis generation. Djokovic is in Nadal's and Murray's generation and none of them are in Federer's generation. I think it is safe to say Djokovic is the most dominate player of the last 6 or 7 years but I still rank Federer and Nadal ahead of Djokovic on the all time great ladder as it is all about the slams to me.

And, we all have to keep in mind that courts, strings and racket changes help Djokovic, Nadal and Murray as their games are heavily dependent on defense.

Another dope who thinks the competition is only tough if it's against "Prime" Djokovic or "Prime" Nadal  conveniently leaving out the fact that career journeyman like Tsonga-Berdych-Wawa-Ferrer in Feds era made up the top 20 in Djokovic/Nadal's "era"

Children who didn't start watching tennis until 2011 don't get an opinion. Learn some tennis history before dropping these garbage "hot takes" you millennials are so eager to push.
