Was a good run. Getting the rejuvenated and motivated 2023 Halle champion in the 2nd round was the worst draw imaginable. This is part of our beloved tennis.

Jannik hasn't been serving that well since his forced hiatus, but his massive baseline game has allowed him to dominate on clay against all bar Alcaraz.

Queen is the better fit for him surface-wise, hope that Halle won't adjust the grass too much. Such a quick green certainly helped the Federer-Halle relationship and clearly draws the big servers to this day. However it makes upsets for the German-speaker from South Tyrol so far more likely, which isn't good for their business...
