This feels like a really good test of the rivalry going forward, Both have been playing very well so we'll see who comes out on top!

I'm picking Alcaraz in 3.

Hoping for a good match. Both players should be in great form.

If Sinner wins, he ties the h2h and takes his already amazing year to another level.
If Alcaraz wins, he takes control of the h2h and puts aside all questions about hard court troubles.

Will they have anything left for Shanghai?

Weird schedule for sure.

I voted Sinner in 3. But after a second thought I give the edge to Alky. Looked damn good with his shots today. Meddy had not much left to do than joke around.

This should be an amazing match. I have no idea which version of Alcaraz will show up. Will it be 2024 IW alcaraz, the same guy that slaughtered Zverev and Med in straights while dishing out a breadstick to each guy? Or will it be 2024 Miami Alcaraz, the same guy that got crushed by Dimi?

I'm talking Sinner in 3. 2-6, 6-4, 7-6. This will be a barn-burner.

1 is median. Sinner was thrashing Carlos even on slow IW. I think he should win tomorrow.

Very hard to pick. Sinner's form is extremely strong — Carlos will need to avoid falling into the trap of trying to outhit him, which will be a losing battle. In the semi, Bu was playing very well with dynamic defence to attack, consistency and defence out of the corners, but it still wasn't enough to break through the Sinner baseline armour.

Sinner in 3 is my gut feel.

Should be great!

@FeroBango @TheSlicer hows the feeling for this match?
Im very glad Alcaraz is playing like himself again, as i predicted after the cincy and uso bad performances, It was a mental thing after an intense summer, not that he cant play on hard, lol, people were deluded to think that, about tomorrow, i dont know, Alcaraz is playing better, but conditions should suit sinner more, could go either way, i favour Alcaraz a bit given the situation, but if he wins tomorrow, watch out for him for the rest of the season, wtf included, he Will have the confidence and motivation back

Should be a close one, expecting three sets. Pressure is on Sinner, with no win over his rival this year yet and yeah, the whole wada situation is surely tough. I still think Sinner will come out on top!

Didn't seem to have an impact in New York.

Agree that the fact that the matches aren't easy to pick adds an element of surprise to their matches.
I think in New York he might have felt like the worst of it was over. What is happening right now is kind of like being cleared by a doctor for being OK and then finding out you have to have more serious tests.

Good to see you around , son! I thought you will be here after IW, but like a true fair weather fan you're here after Carlos made a final on HC

Also picked Sinner in 3. Alcaraz should make it very competitive, but Sonic Jannik should be able to tough it out.
Yep, Alcaraz would have his chances but this surface definitely favours Sinner, as its a fast & low bouncing HC. Juicing doped carrot is definitely the favourite here.
