Does this reflect the era's strength?
Can era strength be used to mislead the actual difficulty of a player's path?

Let’s see what 2025 looks like. Sinner is going to be the scourge of Alcaraz

Will Alcaraz ever beat Sinner again? I say probably, but it's not a guaranteed thing.

Will Alcaraz ever beat Sinner again on any surface other than clay? Almost certainly not!

Well, he might have a chance late in their career given that Sinner is older. But as Alcaraz was an early bloomer, even that isn't guaranteed. At any rate, Alcaraz has no chance of beating Sinner on hard courts or grass for at least the next ten years!

Sinner lost to Medvedev on grass and the previous was smashed by 36 year old Djokovic in straights. The same two events Alcaraz beat Djokovic twice.

Wow

What kind of nonsense is this.

Even rafa almost beat nole in wimby 18.

Alcaraz is younger of the two.

Alcaraz has a unique combination of shifting strategic shape, execution at the highest level of almost all the shots of tennis and an athletic basis to do so for five sets. Frankly only he can challenge the Sinner eye to eye once Djokovic drops his level.

Sinner was 22 and 21 when those things happened. Because he is a late developer, he only hit his peak when he turned 23 less than a month ago. I predict that, now that he is at his peak, he will be a dominant/almost unbeatable #1 on grass and hard courts for the next several years and either best or second-best player on clay (although by a smaller margin). He will most likely win three slams in 2025, but don't be surprised if he completes the CYGS!

Declared innocent Doens't mean guilty ,son! Your last hope was Pusherdev lol
And when exactly was he declared innocent aka absolved from the doping test failures & be provided with a decision that the tests were not true?
He was actually proven guilty and got slapped with a fine, the ranking points of his IW run. He got fined way less & softly than literally everyone else due to his connections with the establishment.

Which means they would or could do the same to Fed.

Nope

Kryptonite is a normal rock for Batman but this doesn't mean Batman can fight Superman just because Superman becomes weak in the presence of Kryptonite.

Nadal's game was kryptonite for Fed, thats it.... Don't let the Miami and Dubai encounters fool you into believing Nadal was a great HC player until end of 2008, he wasn't.

Federer will be look like Superman against Med/Zed, he would murder them with 1 set dropped or perhaps no sets dropped.... not 1 match would go 5 sets, it would be that 1 sided. Safe to bet Fed vanquishing them in straights and he would kill Sinner too.

How many times did Nadal get destroyed by a 37 year old player in a slam?

How about Federer?

Now let's compare that to the Next Gen.

Hmmm...I see that we have a much different picture.

Why not compare the stats of Sinner, Alcaraz, Federer and Nadal at age 21?? Obviously this poll is skewed in Sinners favor as everyone knows Federer was no world beater at 21 and Alcaraz is currently 21and Sinner 23.

It was embarrassing that Alcaraz couldn't defeat the 37-year-old Djokovic on clay.
Nadal, at the same age as Alcaraz, would not have lost more than 6 games against that version of Djokovic.

Relax. No one doubts Alcaraz is no Nadal, especially on clay. That is just another different universe.

No the point of op is to show both fed and Nadal in bad light

Not just Nadal

What about beating him back to back at Wimbledon including when Djokovic was in top form in 2023???

But that doesn't count right??

Fed comes out smelling like roses in this comparison vs Sinner.

Fed. 46-28, .622 vs top-10
Sin: 32-31, .508 vs top-10

So not only did Fed face more top-10 players, but he also slaughters Sinner in percentage. Plus, he added several other flights to other countries to play more matches, which drains the batteries. Hell, no wonder why he got mono in 2008. He was too busy kicking arse while playing that many more tourneys.

He ate them for breakfast. Fed has the record for longest winning streak against the top-10 at 24. Nobody else is close. The 2nd longest streak is a distant 17 straight, which is shared by Djokovic and Federer.

But look, I believe Sinner is on his way to becoming an ATG. His baseline game is surreal. And he’s doing it with only a decent serve. I believe the 6 foot 4 Sinner with extremely long arms will one day have a great serve. If that happens(I know, that’s a huge if), then this kid will set records. He might break the remaining records that Fed still has.

The ball sounds different when Sinner hits it. My wife noticed it first. We have the matches piped through my 7-channel surround sound system. Without looking, she can tell when he’s hitting that wicked FH. It’s a lot like when Delpo unloaded. It sounds like the ball is hitting a battleship after being launched out of a cannon.

That’s said, I’m fine if the rest of Fed’s records are broken. That won’t take away how awesome of a time that I had watching him. He’s still my favorite since McEnroe played.

What do you mean? This must be wrong.
Sinner turned 23 just now. Fed turned 23 before USO 2004.
